Statement of Purpose:
Pan Asian Americans Coming Together was founded in the spring of 1996 to serve as an Asian American umbrella organization. The primary mission of PAACT is to bring together the diverse Asian-specific ethic RSOs in one common forum to address issues affecting our respective communities, to encourage and engage in collaborative efforts within the university and with community organizations, and to promote a visible Asian American voice on campus, throughout Chicago, and throughout the nation. In conjuction with our strong belief in Asian American awareness, unity, and empowerment, we co-founded the Intercollegiate Asian American Students Association of Chicago (IAASAC) and are a member of the Midwest Asian American Students Union (MAASU).

Structure:
Paact is composed of an Executive Board and Standing Committees. The Executive Board officers include the char, public relations, treasurer, and secretary. The Standing Committees each have an overall committee chair.
